Tamiru Asrat (Cap) is the esteemed CEO of TAG Security & HR Service Plc, bringing a wealth of leadership and strategic expertise to the organization. With a distinguished military background, Mr. Tamiru served as a member of the Ethiopian Army, where he held various leadership positions, including Commander-in-Chief at different levels. His military career spans over 16 years, with more than 12 years dedicated to leadership roles, demonstrating his capability to lead complex organizations and manage high-stakes operations. Currently, Mr. Tamiru leverages his extensive experience in leadership, discipline, and strategic planning to drive the growth and success of TAG Security & HR Service Plc.

Girma Geresu (MAJ) is a seasoned leader with a distinguished military background, having served in various capacities, including as Commander-in-Chief of the Ethiopian Army. His military career is characterized by strategic leadership, disciplined management, and a strong commitment to service. Transitioning to the corporate world, Girma now applies his leadership expertise as the Finance and Administration Manager at our company. He oversees financial operations, administrative functions, and resource management, ensuring smooth and efficient organizational performance.

Shift Leaders and Supervisors Qualifications

Knowledge of guarding and security operation

Physically fit, healthy, and vigilant

Knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations

Good English language skills - written and spoken

Good communication skills with the ability to convince and treat difficult people

Ability to lead, coach, mentor, and maintain security operation

Previous experience as police officer, military, or security guard

Ability in customer handling and dealing with difficult people

Experience of handling incidents, reporting, using and recording on logbooks

Able to observe situations and make an appropriate response

No criminal record

Qualification Requirement for Our Employees

We recruit our employees based on our criteria of employment. These may include their academic standard and physical fitness, their ability to withstand difficult situations, their work experience, and the availability of sufficient referrals among many others. After all these screenings, they must have security clearance from the Forensic Department of the federal police, a medical certificate from a recognized medical institution. Lastly, in case any criminal acts are committed, a guarantor (i.e., an employee or a self-employed person) is made to sign for the employee to hand him over or be liable for any wrongdoing.

Training Policy of Our Company

Regarding recruitment: we recruit candidates by posting on newspapers, online, and various posters stating criteria for hiring, and by communicating with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs at 'woreda' level to provide us a list of personnel in need of jobs. We have three steps of training:

Regarding the training, our company collaborates with Addis Ababa City Police Commission, professional security trainers; guest trainers; professional first aid trainers, and company trainers in our training center, who give all the necessary training to our employees based on the main programs listed below:
